These required updates do seem to come in bunches.
Recently I have discovered that the ratings spreadsheet for the women's Australian League for Rugby 13s Edition is set-up in solely the overall total section based on 80 minute matches, not 70. Therefore the Scoring Chance section of the 2023 season is affected, with the offense values being depressed, and the defensive opponent adjustments being stretched wider than they should be.
This error came in when I started splitting ratings into team home and away instead of league-wide when the league expanded from 6 to 10 clubs in this season. Therefore, no other previous season set is affected by this incorrect formula.
The set listed above has now been corrected in the webstore, and all customers on file who have already purchased this set have had the updated replacement sent by email. If you have bought this set and have not…
I see no reason why not, given it's a 'what if' anyway.
They weren't rated together, and the reason for me writing that in the description, was because it was at the time that South Africa was persona non grata, and the World XV rebel tour was as a replacement to B&Is tours there.
The major issue of teams across competitions is the control rating, but either give each team 10, or if you want an accurate control rating, use the formula for Team A's as ( Team A CV / (Team A CV + Team B CV)) * 20. Then that when rounded gives you Team A's control range, with the rest Team B's.
