This set contains full home and away team ratings and scoring cards for all 12 teams that competed in this season (Victoria League).

Note that this season had quarter lengths of 25 instead of 20 minutes, so that should be used for full play games; we've decided to use the men's quick play chart unaltered at this stage (as at release).

Additionally, as behinds were not allocated to players, none will appear in the player scoring cards, as well as no rushed behind rating for teams.

As this season stretches the estimated presumptions around missing team stats to a much larger unlikelihood than later seasons without 'inside 50s' statistics where we've used the same, we have lowered this set's price.

The mighty Fitzroy club won their eighth and final premiership before 52 years later they merged with Brisbane.

Geelong returned from two years out due to wartime restrictions, to return the league to its 12 members that would be unaltered for nearly four decades, but were only able to win one time. At the top end, the home-and-away season ended with the top five separated by only four points, with Footscray's one point win over Carlton in the final round the decider of which of the two teams got in to the final four. Not only that, but the minor premiership was decided by 0.06% (or a single added point) with Richmond beating Fitzroy to claim their fifth league lead.

The two teams won each home match between the two, but in a finals series played at Junction Oval due to the war, Fitzroy won the major semi-final by 11 points. And then although Richmond made it to the Grand Final by beating Essendon, and took a first-quarter lead, they were then unable to stop Fitzroy claiming their final premiership in their last Grand Final appearance, winning by 15 points.
