The set contains all 12 teams from the top level of rugby league in England and France, with each team receiving separate home and away team ratings, along with try scorers lists. Note that some ratings have been estimated due to lack of information, so this set does not contain individual kicking ranges.
 
Like in the inaugural season, no playoffs took place, so the champion was decided at the end of the home-and-away season, and it was Bradford who took their third-ever top flight title and first in 16 years, in a season where they won their first 20 league matches before losing their last home match to Wigan in their penultimate match of the year to end their run at a perfect season. Runners-up London then defeated them in the final round as they finished seven points behind the champions. Promoted Salford would finish in the top half in sixth, whilst Oldham were relegated.
 
All 12 teams then took part in a post-season knockout competition, with Wigan repeating their win over St. Helens from a year earlier in this tournament in the final.
