This set contains team cards for all 20 teams that took part in the tournament, ostensibly hosted by Wales, but with games in England, France, Ireland and Scotland as well.
This set has some ratings estimated due to unavailable information, and uses the era-specific double drop goal range.
At the first expanded World Cup, Australia became world champions for the second time, beating the hosts Wales in Cardiff in the quarter-finals, before an extra time win over champions South Africa in the semi-final. They faced France, making their second final following a win over New Zealand, but they would be well-beaten by Matt Burke's 25 points in a 35-12 victory. South Africa would claim third place with a 22-18 victory over New Zealand.
