All 12 teams are included with team ratings and try scorers lists, as well as individual goal kicker ratings. Also included are the tournament-specific match control charts. All matches bar the 9th-12th place play-offs are rated in this set due to qualifying for the next Women's World Cup, as is shown on the schedule sheet.
Due to no data, no extra try scorers are included, and team control values have been estimated based on individual match scoring.
England won their second title, and first in two decades, when they defeated first-time finalists Canada 21-9 in Paris. They had already beaten the hosts in their semi-final, but were unable to match the English's two tries proving enough for the title. England meanwhile beat Ireland in their semi-final, after they had shocked New Zealand in the pool stage to dump the four-time defending champions out.
But despite leading their third place playoff, the Irish would fall to France 25-18. It was still their best finish ever in fourth, while for the French it was their fifth third place, still without making a final (with both still the case today).
