Japan's Ryoyu Kobayashi took his first overall World Cup Crystal Globe, but not only that claimed the Ski Flying World Cup, the Raw Air Tournament and the famous Four Hills Tournament to sweep the major tour honours. But at the World Championships in Austria, it was Dawid Kubacki of Poland winning on the normal hill and Germany's Markus Eisenbichler on the large hill.
 
Norway's Maren Lundby retained her overall World Cup title and also took the inaugural women's Raw Air title. Juliane Seyfarth of Germany took the first Blue Bird Tour win. Lundby completed her season haul with the victory at the World Championship.
