This year's set contains all eligible archers who scored at least one point in the World Cup season, as well as the top 32 from the World Championships. This is a total of 84 men and 85 women with full ratings, allowing for competitions to be conducted from qualifying to the final arrow of the gold medal match.
For the first time, this year's set also includes a chart showing which countries have enough archers to compete in team competitions (men, women and mixed), with the rules now including a section to play out these events.
At the World Cup Final, Brady Ellison of the USA won the men's individual with Kang Chae-Young of South Korea winning the women's, with both setting world records for a 72-arrow ranking round during the year. Ellison also won the World Championship title beating Khairul Anuar Mohamad of Malaysia, but Kang was beaten in the women's final by Lei Chien-Ying of Chinese Taipei. In the team competitions, China won the men's, Chinese Taipei the women's, and South Korea the mixed.
