This set contains all 12 teams qualified to the tournament held in Saudi Arabia, with all teams receiving full and basic team cards.
 
The tournament was dominated by the four European clubs, with all four winning their preliminary groups to make the semi-finals. Berlin would play two extra time games - winning 35-34 over Barcelona in the semi-final, but losing to defending Club World Cup and European Club League I champions, and fellow Germans, Magdeburg, 34-32 after relinquishing a half-time lead. It was Magdeburg's third straight World title, and Berlin's third final loss in the past six events, after their last title in 2016.
 
After losing the ECL I final rematch to Magdeburg 28-24, Kielce also lost third place match to the Spanish club, 33-30, again after leading Barcelona at half-time. Both clubs slipped back a place from 2022.
