This set contains all 32 teams that played in the tournament held in Poland and Sweden, with all teams receiving full and basic team cards, as well as quick score module ratings.
 
Denmark remained kings of the world, with a third straight World Championship, with the only team able to stop them from a clean sweep at the tournament being Croatia in a main round draw, which ended up eliminating the latter.
 
France were their final victim, as the Olympic champions were defeated 34-29 in the final. That was still the best result for the French at the Worlds since their second of back-to-back titles in 2017. Having lost by three goals to the Danes in the semis, Spain repeated their third place finish from two years before, by a three goal victory, over the co-hosts Sweden in the third place match. Fellow co-hosts Poland bowed out in the main round.
 
Egypt were again the best of the non-European nations, and the only one to qualify for the quarter-finals. But after leading their main round group having not lost, before becoming another scalp of the eventual champions, they were eliminated in the quarters by the Swedes.
 
This tournament also saw a first-ever appearance for Belgium - helped by receiving a bye when Russia were suspended due to the war in Ukraine - and they recorded their first-ever win over Tunisia to make the main round. As did near debutants Cape Verde, who qualified for the 2021 tournament and played one match before having to withdraw due to a COVID-19 outbreak. Their first-ever win came against a team that they were due to play then, Uruguay. The United States, who had a call-up to the tournament in 2021 blocked due to their own outbreak in camp, not only recorded their first-ever win in 59 years and after 25 matches of trying, when beating Morocco by one goal, before they also beat the Belgians in the main round to make it two inside a week. And the Netherlands were given a wildcard to make only their second appearance, and first since 1961, and repaid that by winning three matches.
