This set contains team cards with goal scorers for all eight men's and eight women's teams that competed in the Games held in Santiago in Chile. This set uses the Simplified Play Module rules.
 
Argentina claimed double gold - in the men's they won a fourth straight title, with their nearest challengers their neighbours Chile, but the Argentinians won both their group match and the gold medal match 3-1. Even so, it shows Chile's improvement in field hockey, as they upgraded their best ever result from bronze (four times). Canada, who had lost all the previous three finals, failed to get past Chile in the semis, after a 2-2 draw was decided in a shootout. They would take bronze, beating their neighbours, the USA, 3-2.
 
In the women's it was back-to-back golds for the South Americans, this time meeting the United States in the final after winning the 2019 rematch over Canada in the semi-final 3-0. It was surprisingly tight, but a final quarter goal was the difference in a 2-1 win. Canada would slip out of the medals, losing 2-0 to the Chileans, who equalled their best result from 2011 with bronze.
