This set contains all 12 men's and 12 women's teams that qualified for the finals tournament held in Vienna, Austria.
 
In the men's tournament, the hosts ended the five-time defending champions Serbia in the final, winning by a single point 18-17, to become champions for the first time. Lithuania made it four medals out of five (all top four), denying Switzerland their first with a 21-18 win in the third place match.
 
In the women's tournament, Spain became champions for the second time when they defeated 2022 champions France 19-11 in the final. Defending champions Netherlands slipped back to third place after losing their semi-final by a point to the French, before defeating Poland 21-14 in the bronze match.
 
Debutants were Great Britain in the men - who defeated Latvia before losing to the Swiss in the quarter-finals, and Azerbaijan in the women - who were heavily defeated in their two pool matches.
