It also includes defensive adjustments to play matches with the European Cup teams, along with cross-competition control charts and instructions.
 
The French clubs completed a European sweep with the night before the Cup final, Montpellier won their third Challenge title, also defeating an Irish club, Ulster, 59-26 in Bilbao. It was the highest score in a final and continued a weird coincidence they've won the title in five year intervals (2015-16 and 2020-21 before).
