Having expanded, the Japanese Second League and the Promotion/Relegation Series information now are their own set. All teams have full team cards, with try scorers and individual goal kicking ranges, with the set also including control charts for both home-and-away and neutral venue matches.

Kobe returned to the summit of the Japanese game after first finishing ahead of Saitama with both having 16 wins from 18 in the league stage, before denying Funabashi in the final 22-13, for their first title since 2019. Their opponents have lost both the past two finals.

There were again no changes to the league as 11th placed Urayasu and 12th placed Sagamihara both won their promotion/relegation series.
