With the competition finally making a full 12 countries in the main men's tournament we've finally added the last continental championship to the game.
 
Madagascar and Egypt made both the men's and women's finals, with the hosts winning both - 21-20 in the men's and 17-16 in the women's, with both also holding on to their title. It was the men's third overall as well.
 
Rwanda's men beat Algeria to claim bronze, but their women were defeated by Kenya in the bronze match to end the possible matched podium in both competitions.
