This set uses the Simplified Play Module and contains all eight men's and eight women's teams that competed at the tournament held in Mönchengladbach in Germany, with team ratings and goal scorer and goal keeper selector cards.
 
The hosts' men ended the Netherlands' back-to-back title run, with a 9th overall title following a shootout win over the Dutch in the final. Spain claimed third, denying France their best-ever finish, although the French did claim fourth for the first time since 1970.
 
The Dutch women though made it five titles in a row, beating Germany this time, 2-1. Their dominance is now 13 titles in 17 European Championships. Spain finished third again here, this time defeating Belgium.
