Canada shocked the United States to return to the World Cup in 2027, before losing third place to Tonga, who themselves made a vast improvement, overcoming Samoa. And the Pacific Islanders would slip to last as the USA took the final automatic World Cup place - like Canada returning to the World Cup - when they won the fifth place match in Denver.
