This set contains all 8 men's and 8 women's teams for the intercontinental tournament held in Bangkok, with each team rated for both 1 point and 2 point scoring and allowed, as well as fouls committed and free throw success, with also player lists for assigning scoring.
 
At the second running of this tournament, there were already new champions in both divisions. In the men, Serbia after going 3-0, were edged out by the USA 15-14 in the semi-finals, with the Americans going on to win the gold, beating Spain 19-14 in the final. Spain had been on their way out with a 1-2 pool phase, before hosts Thailand pulled off the shock of all shocks after scoring only 11 points in their first two games, by defeating Lithuania.
 
The women's saw the Netherlands replace Canada as champions, as despite losing to the USA in pool play, they first eliminated the Canadians in the semi-final, then defeated Azerbaijan in the final to claim gold. The Americans pushed their border rivals to fourth, as they bounced back from the shock loss to Azerbaijan in their semi-final.
