Latvia's men won their second title defeating first time finalists Netherlands 19-10. Despite losing to the eventual champions, France claimed their second best result with a 21-14 third place match win over Serbia.

The women's competition saw Netherlands win back-to-back titles - and three of the last four - beating the only side to stop their run previously, Spain, 16-13 in the final. Azerbaijan denied surprise package Slovenia third place, winning 21-18.
