For the first time, this set contains all 16 teams who competed at the tournament held in Kigali, with all teams receiving full team cards (including scorers) and basic cards, as well as quick score module ratings and optional split attacking and defensive modifiers.
 
For the first ever tournament held in East Africa, it was again Egypt on top. Their fourth straight title saw them draw level on ten overall wins with the nation they defeated in the final, Tunisia. Their fellow North Africans had drawn one game with Morocco, and they were no match for the Egyptians, who won 37-24 for their seventh win in seven played.
 
Cape Verde came third for their second-ever medal, defeating Algeria 29-23, while Angola joined the four at the 2027 World Championships, winning through the fifth-place playoff round, and denying Nigeria only their second-ever appearance (after 1999).
