This set contains all 15 teams that competed in the tournament held in Kuwait, with all teams receiving full and basic team cards.
 
Bahrain finally ended Qatar's six tournament championship run as they became only the fifth country to win this event by beating the Qataris, 29-26 after extra time. The Bahrainis had already won their main round match, and after five final losses, they finally were able to cross over to the World Championship as Asian champions.
 
Kuwait made it a sweep of the podium for the Middle East as they collected their first medal since 2008, with the hosts defeating Japan 33-32. Both countries will complete the Asian representation in 2027.
