Following a request by a Precision Volleyball information collector, Precision Volleyball comes with separate set versions where no colour remains (black and white text only) and all flags have been removed. The corresponding write-up for this non-colour version (NCV) follows:
 
This set contains all 16 countries that competed in the top-level international league competition held across the world, with all including team cards and team listed ratings, as well as scoring cards (maximum 13 players listed).
 
The third season saw a return post the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic cancelling the 2020 season, but it also was held solely in Rimini in Italy.
 
The United States dominated the round robin winning their first 14 matches, before being beaten 3-0 by China in their last game, and were joined by Brazil, Japan and Turkey in the semi-finals.
 
And the two-time champions made it three out of three with a 3-0 win over Turkey in the semis, before coming from behind to beat Brazil 3-1 in four tight sets in the final. Turkey would claim third place with a straight sets win over Japan.
