Following a request by a Precision Volleyball information collector, Precision Volleyball comes with separate set versions where no colour remains (black and white text only) and all flags have been removed. The corresponding write-up for this non-colour version (NCV) follows:
This set contains all 24 teams that competed in the tournament co-hosted by Bulgaria, Finland, Italy and Romania, with all teams including team cards and team listed ratings, as well as scoring cards (maximum of 13 players listed).
Poland retained their title, winning the Men's Euro for the third time, defeating France 3-1 in Milan for the gold medal. Behind the pair the shock bronze went to Finland - their first ever medal - when after defeating the co-hosts Italy in a stunner in Turin 3-2, despite losing the semi-final to France, the Nordic nation bounced back with a straight sets win over Slovenia.
There were no debutants, with Sweden the longest returning to the Championship, having not qualified since 1993 - and after going close against Czech Republic, they recorded a win against Slovakia as they went out in the pool phase.
