This set contains all 32 teams at the first expanded Women's World Championship, held in Spain, with each team receiving both full and basic team cards along with goal scorer lists and Quick Score Module ratings. The set also contains the optional split defensive ratings for shots in normal Attack vs Defence formations and 1 vs 1 with the opposition goalkeeper, along with the optional corresponding attacking adjustments to take into account the relative strength of opponents each team played against.

Having won their first world title two years ago, the Netherlands failed to make it out of the main round group as Sweden drew with both the Dutch and Norway, thus when the Norweigans defeated Norway 37-34 it eliminated the defending champions before the quarter-final stage.

In the quarter-finals, Brazil were the only non-European nation to reach the final eight, however they were eliminated by Denmark 30-25, but it was 2017 champions France who were to eliminate both the Swedes and then in a stunning comeback the Danes, 23-22 to return to the final. In the final they would face Norway in a repeat of that final after they saw off Russia and then hosts Spain, 27-21 in the semis.

The final, however, saw Norway doing to France what they did to Denmark in the semis, as they came from four goals down at half-time to concede just six goals in the second half as the Norwegians returned to the top of the women's world, claiming their fourth title with a comprehensive 29-22 victory over the Olympic champions. Denmark also won by seven goals in claiming bronze with a 35-28 defeat of the Spanish.
